MMB did the entire fit-out for Houwzer, a real estate brokerage that wanted to make their office feel like home. Based in the historic Drexel Building, Houwzer’s office is a juxtaposition of new and old, combining historic stone with large glass fronts and modern furniture.

The space features plants hanging from beams clad with terracotta. Some building elements, such as the original brickwork, were carefully preserved or repaired during the construction process to maintain the building’s history. Furthermore, MMB worked meticulously and creatively to make the exposed plumbing and ductwork aesthetically pleasing and in line with modern design standands.
